Although Mr. Loffler does not perform actual marketing steps, he offers inventors tips, insights and guidance into the marketing process as well as giving referrals to trusted invention marketing experts. A solid protection strategy coupled with an in-depth marketing plan, increases the chances of success for any invention. Mr. Loffler is only able to offer these marketing services to clients for which he has prepared the patent application.
Of course, Mr. Loffler also assists his clients in licensing negotiations as well as contract review whenever a contract is presented to a client for their invention. Additionally, Mr. Loffler offers advice in dealing with investors for a particular invention, although our office does not assist in locating potential investors.

Invention marketing companies are private consulting and marketing businesses that exist to help inventors bring their inventions to market, or to otherwise profit from their ideas. While many of these organizations are legitimate, many others should be approached with EXTREME caution. Such marketing companies make grandiose promises of potential success without any detailed analysis of the invention or its potential for market success Such companies have a single goal, to separate you from your hard earned money. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office maintains a listing of complaints filed against many invention marketing companies on its web site as does the Federal Trade Commission. Mr. Loffler never recommends the use of these questionable companies and does not work with such companies in any way. If you are considering using such an invention marketing company, strong due diligence should be undertaken before any money exchanges hands, especially if large upfront fees are requested.
